I suggest having a veterinarian teach you.
I take mine to the pet store for their clippings, it's $5.00 per bird. I feel much safer having an experienced person clip them. There is always the danger of clipping a "blood" feather ( a feather that hasn't finished growing). Cutting a blood feather can cause many complications: blood loss, infection, etc.

You would need a picture of the wing and the correct place to trim or it is dangerous. You should also have quick-stop handy to stop any bleeding if it happens. Never cut a blood feather. That is a new feather that is already grown in fully. If you cut one by accident, you have to hold the wing firmly with one hand and pull the rest of the feather out of the wing...best done by a vet.
If it isn't pulled the bird could bleed to death....Good Luck...Kris

Let your pet shop do it the first time then you'll know how to do it right.
