Scoliosis is a curvature of the spine. I am not familiar with "infantile cervical" scoliosis but suspect that her spinal cord curves to the right or left in the upper back/neck area. Because I am not familiar with this I can't say for sure, but there are several options: 1 - it goes away on its own 2- the doctors do something to straighten it or 3 - she grows up with a bit of a curved back.
None of these seem too bad unless you are the mother of a 2 mnt, 1 wk and 5 day old daughter! I am sure that if this was very serious her doctor would send you to the ER or have her admitted to a Children's Hospital. He may refer her to a specialist if treatment is required. Many people have scoliosis and the degree varies tremendously. I have had scoliosis for years untreated - so I get a back ache if I sleep on my back.

Congratulations on being a new mommy! NOTHING can compare!

WOW I don't know anything about infantile scoliosis. I have scoliosis and had surgery when I was 14 I went to Shriner's children's hospital. Shriner's is a very good place to go there is a lot of paper work but the Dr's are the best and it's free of charge for the patients.
You should really look into it. If they for some reason can't help you they can tell you who can. Good Luck and God Bless.

I'm stressed. So the person you're going to marry has a fifteen month ancient son? And his mother is attempting to get surgical procedure at the little one? How is that this feasible? Unless your fiance is beneath 18 or the mummy has custody of the little one she might don't have any say. Can you furnish a few explanation?
