I have heard several times that the majority of black woman are attracted to dude with the "thug" image is this true?? if so why and if you disagree describe the ideal man....

I think that we are attracted to thugs because we like the fact that a thug tries to take control of everything including life. No woman in my opinion wants a guy that she can run over. I think we like thugs because thugs are not intimidated by us they are more like whatever just don't mess up. I think it is the sense of protection that you get from a thug. But, there are different types of thugs I mean you have your educated thug. This is the kind of guy who you wouldn't mind bringing home because he knows how to provide for you without having to live a street life because he has been educated by both the streets and books. So, you know that if he don't make it as a marketing director you know he got some hustle in him to make sure you get the things you want and need. Then you have your just common old thug one who is not messed up about life only about the streets not trying to educated hisself this is the thug to stay away from because he will bring you down before he bring you up. But, then you get your thugs who are not really thugs they just live life like that because they feel like they have no other choice. So, you can take this kind of guy and pretty much mold him into what you want him to be plus he got some hustle to back you up along the way. Not only that but thugs offer you that sense of security. Emotionally he'll be there for you because thugs have hearts too. Physically, he tries to be dominant and I don't care what anybody says every woman wants that man that is not afraid of her but does not result to beating her. She just wants to know how far she can go and a thug will show her that. I think women like thugs too because they are something that they are not. I think you fall for the thrill of it all. Plus, thugs are just real. I mean they keep it real all the time. You know when they're lying, you know when they're telling the truth. They're just straight up with you and thats something you can't get out of most of your dream guys. Your dream guy might fall for you but don't know how to show it or tell you. Or eventually you get bored with him because he isn't spontaneous enough or he doesn't have that fearless attitude that you are looking for he is just plain and boring. It's not like that with a thug because everyday is an adventure. The thug will find a way to show you how he feels or what it is that he wants. The thug is just real thats what women fall for the realness of a thug. A thug is the truth point blank.

In my opinion that ids definitly not true,woman are attracted to a good man, someone who treat them good an can relate to the lifestyle they live and someone the have something in common with, and shares the same mentality as them whatever that may.If a woman is in the 'thug" Menatlity then probally yes but not all black womanare the same.
Who ever told you that a majority of woman like on type of man must tell the person who told them that, and te person who tol THEM that,and the person who told them that, and who originally told them to knock it off stop spreading rumors lol it's no true!

I don't think it's true...there are many black girls who want a dude with some "act right" in other cases we have those stupid *** girls who wants a "thug" but complains about how she wants her mad to treat her right. I think it's a protection issue but what those girls don't realize it that u don't need a gangsta to protect you...if anything the girl is acually the protector in those situations lol I mean...ol' boi is gonna need somebody to push in front of the bullets when his "thug" *** is getting shot at!!!...hmmmmm everybody has their own taste...honestly I wouldn't waste my time trying to figure stupid people out. Go find your self a classy woman and don't worry about the hoodrats who want a "thug" in their life.

I am a black lady and the majority of my friends (who are black females) don't like those stupid thugs because they are just that-STUPID. No sensible women wants a man with no morals and no sense.

im mixed but i dont like the thug ideal but im more of a rocker chick even if im half black so i would probbly want a guy who is like all in to rock and punk rock

"thugs" sound unintellegent and the inproper english is horrible!
So someone with a style of their own,and their own security of just being themsleves. That is what is important.

i dont kno.. they seem so confident..liek believe in them selves.. cocky even... BUT u can still be a thug by heaert n not have to go with the whole 'image' of it... i personally like a sensitive guy...

well black culture is basically lower class street wannabe gangsters, sooo what do u think? "brotha" ... but i have noticed more black girls are leaving that image and are startin to dress prettier and not ghetto. sooo its 50 50
