I never understood how anybody could get off on paying somebody for phone sex. Don't you imagine a big fat disgusting woman with a sexy voice on the other end? Now if you were in some kind of long distance relationship you could get creative to hold you over until the rendez-vous. You could also get good at typing (with one hand) and have im sex, but then you really don't know who's on the other side. You could have a real tete a tete.

Well of course it is, you're just doing yourself to someone's else heaving and whoaing!!
It's only as good as your own personal experience, since you have to draw from them to be able to relay them to your phone partner.
It's only free if you hook w/someone in a chat room, and after a few weeks of being friendly, you bring it up, otherwise---everywhere on the net --they will charge ya!
