is switching out of a class during the first 2 weeks of school bad? i mean if i can't handle the workload and i switch out would there be any consequences. (ex. i got US HISTORY HONORS and its too hard for me so i switch to REG history.)

THANKS in advance.

Usually there's only a penalty if you drop it all together; moving to a different class is very understandable. Every school is different though, so talk to a counselor asap! The longer you wait, the worse the penalty gets (meaning, if you wait too long, you could automatically get an F).

depends, if you want to go to an ivy league school, than switching is not a good idea and you might want to stick it out

on the other hand, if you just want to get into a nice college that isn't picky, definitely take the regular history class. this ensures that your GPA won't be damaged. i took AP chemistry and failed it, i had a sweet GPA to start with, then after i failed that, it was down in the bad side.

no, it wont matter to anyone, to colleges, or anything. what matters is the A. colleges prefer to see more As than honors-- than getting a C or even a B. just try to do your best, and get As. and college is so much easier, i always made some As some Bs in highschool (no Cs) and now in college ive made 1 B. it should have been an A, the prof was just screwed up, so it ruined my 4.0! have fun!
