She is starting to wean them so now its your turn to take care of them.

Get some puppy food and pour some hot water on it so it will soften. Takes about 20 minutes. Once its soft, mush is up with a fork or if you have a blender that is even better.

You can add some evaporated milk. You'll need to make it pretty 'soupy' at first so they can lap it. Make sure it is a good temperature and feed it to them. It might take a couple feedings for them to really get the idea.

Do this 3-4 times a day depending on how hungry they are, how many puppies you are feeding and how big they are.

Its too bad you didn't do a little bit of research BEFORE the puppies were born.

Please Do Not force the mother to feed her pups. I have a two year old boxer mix that I got when she was only 4 weeks old due to the death of her mother. I called my vet, did tons of research and started her on Esbilac puppy colostrum. I gave her the pupp milk until she was 6 weeks, and then started her on Eukanuba puppy food. I mixed the puppy food with the little bit of formula I had left, and then I started mixing the dry food with the Esbilac 2nd stage weaning formula. I now have a very beautiful and healthy dog. You may also want to crate train the pups and put a heating pad under a towel for the pups to lay on since their little bodies cannot keep warm enough until about the 6th week of their lives. Good Luck!

You don't need to take the pups to the vet. Just go there and tell them that she won't feed them. They will then give you some formula. With them being 4 weeks old you sould be able to put the milk in a bowl and leave them work on it. Just make sure your there to over see that all eat.

Puppy formula and bottles are available at most larger pet stores. The mom is weaning early, so supplement with a bottle while they learn to eat puppy chow. Try mixing formula with the puppy chow to soften it for a while.

Call your vet and find out. You will probably have to buy puppy formula and bottle or bowl feed them or start weaning them to be eating solid food.

Once the mother is able to, please have her fixed right away. Only professional breeders should be breeding dogs and only dogs who are fit mothers and prime specimens of the breed should be bred. Please help prevent the 2-5 million animals that are killed each year in shelters.

I had the same problem when my cat had kittens, she just wouldn't take care of them, we tried holding her down, an puttin the kittens there to drink, and it worked for a while, but if you go to the pet shop, they sell puppy formula, and little bottles to feed them with, I had to raise 4 kittens, all by myself, its hard work, but its worth it.

hold the mom down, the formula doesnt even match to the moms milk, it has the anti-bodies taht the formula doesnt even have. hold the mom down and let the pups feed. do this every 3-4 hours a day.
