not a very good sign.. guys and girls have a hard time being "just friends", especially after a relationship or feelings in the past. my ex and i broke up on good terms, and i have new boyfriend that i am in love with! but my ex kept emailing, or calling EVERY 2 weeks to say "hi", and imming when he saw me. it's just not a good thing..even tho we are on good terms, nothing good could come from keeping too close of a relationship. if u want to be polite, say "it's ok, we are both busy. :) take care". so that he knows u don't hate him, but u don't desperately want him back..usually i would say he misses u and is trying to keep a relationship w/ you *just in case* he gets lonely...even if he's not a jerk, guys get lonely and start missing their ex. so be careful, and don't get too close if u don't want to get back together.

Could mean he wants to get back with you and he is just probing :) Or maybe he just genuinely misses you
