Funny, Chances are some adults take children's Tylenol. Back in the 60's someone put arsenic into Tylenol bottles and allot of folks were poisoned. They have led the world in safe packaging and labeling. They have risen the art of "Covering Your A**" to an art form.

LOL !!!!
Even though I had to laugh at your question, I just have to tell you this.
A friend of mine is a Doctor in an Emergency Room. He told me that you wouldn't believe the people that come in due to an overdose of regular Tylenol. He also told me that more people OD on that than Valium !
( Course, we're not talking about children either ! )
SO ! I guess that means I can't let my 4 year old mow the back 40 after taking children's Tylenol any more huh?
MAN !!!! I guess it's back to work for me!!!

It must be down to protecting the company against law suits.Like the one Jeremy mentioned on top gear a few Weeks back about the fellow who bought the moter home and went in the back to make a cup of tea and obviously crashed. Then as Americans tend too he sued stating he thought it basically could drive itself and it was not posted anywhere that it couldn't perform this feet.If you follow me.Also adults do take it as someone else mentioned.

Its just the law because it can cause drowsiness... and lets face it there are a lot of stupid adults out there who might take children's Tylenol and think that because it is the children's version it will not cause drowsiness...
Winnebago has in its drivers manual not to put the motor home on cruise control and then get up and go to the bathroom -- because some idiot actually did it!

Because we seriously had adult patients taking children's tylenol and then blaming things on the tylenol... That, and the 16 year olds that were driving cars taking the child's tylenol. Things just have to be labelled for those people out there.....

Yes, it's funny. I think drug manufacturers bend over backward so as not to get sued.
In relation to another answer here, Tylenol can cause liver damage but only if the dosage recommendations are exceeded. So do not give higher doses or give more often than the package recommends.

Heavy machinery could be a keyboard or a CD player with Nine Inch Nails on it.

Because of stupid people who have sued the Tylenol company for stupid reasons. That's why Starbucks and McDonals have a warning label that says Caution Coffee maybe hot.

Presumably because operating heavy machinery after administering a dose to your child would be viewed as neglect!?
