I need ideas on how to stray away from making it seem like girls gone wild, when it says wild, we were thinking about like funky colors, and and little retro vibe.

sounds like a good idea...you could add a few pictures of random classmates having fun...even teachers having fun is cool, seeing that it's not everyday you see a teacher have fun.

The first thing I thought of was Girls Gone Wild. Maybe change the theme because Eagles have always been wild. Although who really cares if it is associated with Girls Gone Wild. It is an attention grabber!

You could also incorporate the theme of Going Wild in a "wilderness" way - maybe utilizing graphics with the native environment of whatever Eagle is closest to your school mascot.

have in the year book some great highlites of the school year! b-ball compations! etc! and for the front cover have a eagle on it!
