Take a hot bubble bath, candlelit, with a glass of wine, favorite cd playing, and just lean back and close your eyes. This always helps me to relax.

There are many ways you can achieve your goal of relieving stress. One is by exercise. Walking is the best exercise for your body and the safest too. Taking a brisk walk of 15 minutes a day to start for the first week and then gradually working your way to more and more minutes.
Eating healthier is also a good way to relieve stress. By putting good healthy foods into your body can do wonders on a person and improve your moods and provide you with more energy.
Take some time out for just you and what you want to do, whether it is once a day or once a week. Do something for yourself boosts your self-esteem and your self-confidence.
Find a hobby. Pick something that might interest you to try. This can relieve stress.
Find something new and fun to do with your spare time. Go somewhere where you always wanted to go, but could never find the time.
If non of the above work or apply to you, then I suggest you seek a counselor. Talking to a complete stranger can be more beneficial than you could ever know of!
Good luck and I hope these suggestions can help you! I hope that you feel better soon!

It depends on what kind of stress you are dealing with. If it is related to other people then you must address them about what is bothering you. If your stress is from trying to do to much[which I am guilty of] then I would suggest a night of relaxation, perhaps a walk or a movie. Lately my vehicles have been breaking down and when I got really pissed off I had to walk away and address the problem with a clear mind. Also I may add that in my case I like to get worked up in order to get more done, which can backfire. But today is Friday and I for the most part take it easy on Friday nights. Maybe you need to do the same.

Exercise, eat healthy and learn to stop worrying. The last is the most difficult but the biggest culprit - I've been there.
There are courses and work programs on stress management.
Some people think deep breathing, yoga and meditation are useful.
Whatever you choose do not include alcohol, drugs or smoking because you will have stress and an addiction too.

Taking deep slow breaths--about ten slow inhalations and exhalations per minute--for at least two minutes (but preferably longer) will trigger your body's relaxation response, lowering your blood pressure and calming your body, thus calming your mind and relieving stress.
My favorite stress reliever is long walks, and deep breathing.
And remember . . . it's all temporary, so don't sweat the small stuff. Everything else will work itself out in it's own way and time.
: ) Good luck

Win the lottery, meet and marry Johnny Depp, write a best seller, get a major acting role in Coronation Street, and mmm avoid stress, listen to Enya, exercise, smoke weed then write a number one hit song, yoga, hit a cushion hard and imagine it's Davina Macall? mmm sex, hug a tree, stroke a ***** (cat) slide down a grassy hill on some cardboard, ride a 1970's chopper in a mini skirt, slap a guys face and finally have a cool glass of wine and some strawberry ice cream, and the following day.......

if your stressed all the time, you'll never have any time and you won't have any patience to try these good diet, regular exercise meditation, regular routine, the right amount of sleep for yourself and not what others think. try yoga, try to find out what stresses you the most and fix it. some people stress more than others but it is usually worsened with external factors.

Do what you like to do.
Don't worry. Stress is caused by worrying.
Take care of your problems 1 at a time.
