If the question has inappropriate language AND is in the wrong section, I report it as miscategorized and inappropriate. A kid wandering around the education section shouldn't be subjected to inappropriate material.

But I think some people report anything that goes against their beliefs, which is why R & S would have a lot of people reporting.

This section does get more trolls than most, but I only report questions that actually blatantly abuse the Y! terms of service. Even then, I'll let it slide unless the asker is trying to incite violence.

I've only reported one poster to Yahoo!, since I like to think of the internet as relatively free.

I report question that contain profanity.

I report answers that are not answers, but are either links to sites that have nothing to do with the question (ie, www.myislamweb.com) or are just after two points.

I do not report questions or answers I disagree with; that's why this site exists. If people would use this site simply to ask questions or to share opinions, it would run so much smoother...

I have only reported outright racism and/or condoning of frank abuse to another living being.

Why? Because subconscious influence is much more powerful than we give it credit for, and this si not the forum nor the audience for such activities.

There is a courtesy that all people should have for the other. This would include not talking and about body discharge in connection with anyone's faith. It would include using language to make your points not vulgarity. Do I expect everyone to fall in line with what I believe and say... NO. They can even call me silly for my faith. That's ok. No one has to respect me or my thoughts. All I ask is simple courtesy.

many reasons, profanity, inciting hate, stupid questions in general. And we tell them that we reported them so we can get the points... lol.
