The bible says that God loves all his "children" or "followers" but take a look at the world around you all the things that go on in our lives on a daily basis. There are events that happen that must stop and make you wonder, "God how could this have happened?" (9/11),(the atrocities of WWII),(recent events in the middle east) There are stories in the bible where God has intervened through miracles and signs through his followers to stop atrocities against his people and times where he has just let life happen. Could he not just snuff the life of the people responsible for all the terrorism and violent crimes to avoid suffering and pain for those who did not deserve it. Are we all that far beyond saving or help or do we wait until we destroy eachother for His "KINGDOM" to be realized.

Yes, once you are able to love him.
God is not human, does not have human emotions which are based on wanting and the unknown. God couldn't possibly want anything or fear anything.
So To know God is to stop needing him to love you.
BTW God doesn't exist either.

God is within you,if you ever stop loving, then consider that God might! The responsibility for the world is up to each of us,when any of us turns their "back" on another, they refute God.

When did he show that he loved?
Was it when he killed all of the people in Sodom and Gemorrah?
Was it when he had the innocent first-born children in Egypt killed?
Does his love shine through in the Bible when it says that it is OK to beat your slaves as long they can get up within a couple of days?
Perhaps his love shows in the Nwe Testament when Jesus informs us that good men who are not believers will be sent to hell?
Was he driven by love when Eve chose knowledge over happiness?
Is this really a god of love?

He could, but he wouldn't. He loves each and everyone of use too much to stop loving us. We are all God's children, and as our Father, he will never stop loving us.

No. He would have to stop being God, for "God is love".

No, he would have never sent his only son to die on the cross for our sins! Would you give up something you love for people you don't even know? He continues to shower us with love each and everyday (you and I are still on earth together)!
Until we meet one another in heaven,
Donna
