Go to a hair dresser and tell them to make you look cute. Usually, any decent stylist can come up with something very spunky that isn't off the wall and looks way better than what you would have chosen. This is my favorite way to get a hair cut and it always comes out much better than when I used to bring in photos of hair styles that I liked. Not to mention it is fun and exciting. My thought is that your hair will always grow back if you don't like the new style and you can try again next time.

My daughter also has long thick (really thick) curly hair. What I found best for her was about shoulder length, layers, and thinned with a razor. It works good because it is still long enough to pull back in a pony tail on those humid days so it doesn't look all frizzy, but short enough to leave down and do something fun with too. I hope this helps.

Only cut an inch or two because curly hair shrinks up. Put some layers in it so it wont look so blunt. Add some highlights and lowlights in it to give it some dimension. Be creative. Have fun with your hair.

Are you sure you want to cut it.........if so you may want to try layers at first maybe even straighten your hair, then layers. That would be so cute. Better yet, go to a beauty supply and get some hair style magazines, that will give you a good idea of what you want.

if u like it curly i would go with a medium or short haircut it will make the curls pretty i have thick curly hair and i have a long layered bob and the layers make my curls pretty and when i straighten it, it still looks cute and i have long side swept bangs that i keep straight even when my hair is curly

Layers look best with thicker hair. I have thick hair that's to my wiast, and I think before shcool starts, I'm going to get mine layered, so that it will take less time to dry and it will be easier to style without so many tangles.

Go get a hair book, and look at the cuts that are in it, pick what you think will look cute on you from it..

Hope this works

i have thick brown hair (not curly) but i think my hair would look good in layers, yours would probably look good with long bangs that slowly slope into the rest of your hair. ♥ if i were you i would talk to your hairdresser about it.
