If he says that Judaism is the truth then christians and muslims will be destroyed. and if he says that Islam is the truth then that means Christianity and Judaism will be destroyed. will not the religion he ordains have an enormous geo-political impact?

Jesus has already confirmed what is the Truth. . "No one comes to the Father but by Me." John 14:6. What is of more importance is the decision that people make NOW. After He returns, (and that very soon!) you wont be able to say, "oops, I change my mind"....

Your religion will not matter they are all branches of the same basic belief... That Jesus died for your sins and that he is the son of the most high God. It states in the Bible that if you believe that Jesus died for your sins and came back from the "dead" on the third day and you confess this with you mouth you will have eternal life with Christ.

something tells me that people will always have cognitive dissidence and ignore the truth even when it is right in front of him.
also the person would need to prove that he is Jesus. With all the crazes running around you never know
