People generally transfer what is in their own hearts into their concept of 'God'. Guess we know where you stand...

Great news! God really does exist!
Even greater news, the hate and vidictive things that happen in our world are not of God's hand. Evil and torment is Satan's work. He is always trying to hurt and destroy others.
Whew, don't you feel relieved to finally hear the truth? The lies were tying you up from living a peaceful life, but now "the truth has set you free".

Don't you think it's because of all the monsters He created? He started out with good intentions, but somehow a lot of his creations turned out to be deadly disappointments to him. Nevertheless, in spite of all the horrible people in the world -- the wife beaters, child molesters, rapists, murderers, whoremongers, thieves, drug dealers, traitors, terrorists, etc., He still lets them live and enjoy all the bounty of nature, gives them eyes to see, ears to hear, a voice to blaspheme, hands to give comfort or to kill, legs to carry them all their life, and free will to do good or evil -- the choice is theirs. So this "God guy" isn't so terrible after all, when all it would take to smite us all would be the touch of his powerful hand. I would rather live as though there is a God, and find out there isn't when I die, than live as though there were no God, and then die and find out THERE IS!!
Sincerely,
Another bible basher

God isn't hateful or vindictive. He gave His only Son to the cross for us.

I don't believe in a hateful and vindictive god. But then again, I don't believe in the christian god. I believe God is love, and is within all of us. A higher power, but also a part of each of our hearts.

It is beyond me that God haters always say that He is the hateful one. That He is the cruel one.. It is mankind that rejected Him. Man turned from the Goodness He created to follow his own will. Then when things go wrong man cries "GOD did it to me" We have made the world this way not God. He made it perfect, we corrupted it with sin. Then God steps in and says I'll fix this sin problem and His Son enters the world lives a sinless life and is executed for our sin. God does everything to correct the riff that we put between Him and us and then when we reject His gift and things again go wrong we scream... "God did it to me"

God is not hateful He is love and He is definetly not vindictive
He loves you to, even if you do not realize or feel it.
He sent down His Son Jesus to die for you, so that you would have everlasting life, your sins in the past would be and the sins that you would commit in the future could be forgiven, so that you would be healed, delivered and set free.

Depends on what you are refrencing to. If you are saying that he is hateful and vindictive because he lets people die in cruel ways, I will tell you it is not his fault, but ours- its called free will. We cause the things that happen on this earth to happen because we have free will. It is not him.

He is hateful. And why not? Can't God have all the colors of emotion like we do? It's not that He hates people though, He simply hates sin.
