It depends on where you are the trees that live there and how rich the soil is. Trees also don't get too high up because the air gets thin. but if you look at a mountain you can see that there is a point where trees don't grow anymore, it happends on all mountains that are high enough.

There is a tree line-- I believe its around 12,000 feet or so. Maybe a little higher or lower depending on local weather...
