There you can find information on everything that's happening this weekend.
I live in MD, so I don't go into DC for Indian food, which I love.
Here's the Post's review of DC's 27 Indian Restaurants.

My family took me to D.C. many years ago, and we went "everywhere", including a tour through the White House, and Arlington Cemetery.

Easily the most fascinating, IMO, was the Smithsonian.

Want to see THE Declaration of Independence? US Constitution? Bill of Rights? The Wright Brothers plane? The Spirit of St Louis? The lunar module that put the first human beings on the moon? The Spruce Goose? Other stuff that belonged to George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin, Thomas Edison, Abraham Lincoln?

All that stuff was there when I was there, as I recall, and only about 20,000 other USA historical artifacts.

Malls??? Are you kidding me?

Go to DUPONT CIRCLE. And China Town, near the Arena.

Did you say Malls??

ADDED: Suck it up with the heat. You are visiting, you can deal with the heat for a few days.
