Specifically:

1 - The ischial spines -- the part of a woman's pelvis that form the base of a triangle with her pubic bone. From behind, they press on the sides of the man's pubic bone at the extreme end of entry, and it feels marvelous.

2 - The woman's pubic bone -- most men are more sensitive on the front of the penis, and having this part aligned with the woman's pubic bone gives more stimulation as a man slides in and out.

I would say for three reasons.....
1) The man feels dominating 'cause he's above her and she is submissive
2) The guy can see the penetration, and this is arousing
3) Much more physical pleasure for both partners
