alcohol gives you the courage to do the things you want to do when you are sober...i say don't take him back you can find a better man than that...

Honestly, he was drunk, its what alcohol does to people, not just guys either. girls get drunk and make the same mistake as well. If he is honestly sorry, and it would be pretty obvious when he found out what he did, and he tries to apologize to you, it wont hurt to give him a second chance. If my girlfriend were to get drunk and started flirtin or making out with another guy it wouldnt bother me that much, because it makes the best of people make mistakes they would never do when they are sober. I come from a family of drunks, some who dont even know they are, and some who go to weekly meetings of AA cause of there problem. Maybe ur bf needs help, but if u truly like him, maybe even love, then give him another chance, that is if he is looking for one. no one is perfect.

I think it depends on how much it really bothers you. Do you really want a boyfriend who would do such a thing regardless if he was drunk or not? With you present or not? I'm assuming that you're not together with him presently, considering you wrote "Do I take him back?", so it must've upset you. Are you feeling guilty because he has apologized and is begging for you to take him back? I think you could find a great man out there who wouldn't treat you that way - if that's what kind of man you're looking for.

Would he be understanding if you went around feeling up guys when you drank? If it's going to happen every time he drinks, then I'd get rid of him now.

Being drunk was an excuse, and a lame one at that

your boyfriend has a drinking problem since it is effecting his conduct/behavior. Better look at that issue and not whether you should "take him back." What else would he do if drunk? It's not going to be a legal defense when he damages a person or property,

I don't think that being drunk is a good excuse for anything. If I saw my husband doing that, I would tear him a new one and be prepared to walk out the door!

Dump him! He's not worth it and obviously he doesn't really want anything serious with you b/c a man who does what he did (sober or not) wouldn't do that to someone that they care about or truely love. I know it may be a hard and difficult experience. But you are better without all of his weight on your shoulders! Give yourself 2 months without him and see what you feel. I know b/c I went thru the same thing...and I feel MUCH BETTER!

my boyfriend would say not because he was drunk, but i say that he shouldnt have been that drunk. i do think it's wrong. it all goes back to feelings and truth. even if he was drunk, he probably did it because it's something he had wanted to do before. just this time he didnt have the nerves of being caught by you or being rejected and slapped this time.

This is why people shouldn't have "best friends" of the opposite sex. This kind of stuff ALWAYS happens one way or another. And if it doesn't, it's because one them is gay. And even THAT isn't a guarantee something won't happen. It's just so naive, that's all. No, don't take him back.

One does not do anything drunk they haven't thought about sober.
Therefore drunk is not an excuse. The question is did she encourage this behavior or was he being a very big jerk.
