Hey i thought i was shy too until I started working and met a cute guy.. then I just started talking to him and I invited him to join me and my friends at an amusement park but told him I needed to know if he could come and when so I gave him my phone number...we're still only friends, but it's a start!

if he lives next door, it shouldnt be difficult to try and spend time with him. I'm not saying be a stalker but try to hang out or strike up a conversation sometime. From there, I think you'll figure out what you need to do depending on what kind of guy he is.

I don't know but when you find out lett me know, one of my friends get's asked out all the time but she doesn't want to date, me I haven't gotten any offer's from anyone ever, but i'd love to get some one day.....maybe my senior year this year will prove to be worth the wait
