I know the answer. But I asked 16 middle and high school students who have been going to church a long time and some of them being saved quite some time this question and they couldn't answer. I would like to see how many quality answers are out there.

In know who I was before I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior. I was much like those who condemn my answers and questions now---defiant and in denial. When one KNOWS the Savior, then they know God. I know Jesus Christ, so I know the one who sent Him.

My mouth is cleaned up. My heart is peaceful when before it would have been angry and fearful. My mind is clear and passionate in the task of sharing the Good News of Salvation. When, before I would have been uncomfortable and even aggrivated if someone even mentioned the name of "God" or "Jesus Christ" in my presence.

I KNOW God is in my heart, because the evidence of His Holy Spirit is in my daily life, my prayer life, my marriage, and in my children's lives.

The glory of the nations, a light for all to see; and hope for all who will embrace His warm reality. Immanuel.

Because God is Love and Truth.

When i go deep into my heart, the center of my being, i find that my heart knows Divine Love and Divine Truth.

When God is present in my Heart, it is filled with such a radiation, and such a power, that i feel i might dissolve, or burn up, like there is a sun exploding inside of me.

Sometimes, there is just a peace, like everything i think and feel and know are just a film, floating on top of an immovable ocean of peace, and everything i am, everything i know, is just a little tiny pinhole in the film, floating on an endless ocean.

And so the heart KNOWS God. Beyond that is more than words can say.

Kind of a bogus questions...how can one "know" with their heart. The heart is not an organ capable of knowing anything. Many people believe that they can feel the truth of it through strong emotion but this is not knowledge either. This is simply the warm fuzzy feeling that many people experience when they come to the belief that God loves them or that they are part of some grand universal truth to which they are privy. No knowledge exists here...only strong belief fueled by emotion.

I know God in my heart the way I know others - through communication. Listening and speaking and observing. Seeing what He has said in the written word is true in reality. By seeing that when I put my trust in Him and trust what He says that He is ever faithful. Living in union with Him has transformed my inner and outer life. I have seen His working in the lives of others.

I could not deny my knowledge of Him the same way I could not deny the knowledge of myself. It's like asking - how do you know you are in your being.

I live by the spirit, think of things that are spiritual, and I'm dead in the flesh. I let the word of God lives in me, and if i sin, I automatically feel sorry and repent, i do all of that because i have hope of a new life in Christ on Heaven.

Faith. Now faith is being sure of what we hope for, and faith is being certain when we do not see. The bible tells us clearly that Jesus will send us the Spirit, and God will be with us. Isn't it even better than what his disciples had when Jesus was on Earth? Now, his Spirit is indwelling us and he is never away, sleeping, or leaving us to our own devices. Amen!

how do i know. im a man of true faith in god. first he is always in my hart my thoughts and i thank him many times a day for all that i have and im not rich with money but rich with love for my famliy friends myself and my fellow man. a good example my heart tells me no matter what this unfaithful goddless president and gop led goverment are doing against mankind through this war for money and i mean money he seems to be getting himself i know that god will someday make things right in this world again. i do not believe we live in a goddless world far from it but we have and have had people who just have to turn away from god and resort to many unfaithful actions for money.

I'm human, so I KNOW things with my brain, not my heart.
My heart is a muscle that pumps blood. Anyway, I don't yet know God, even with my brain. I keep calling him, but he doesn't answer. Perhaps you could shed some light for us.

Quality answers!...really!.....the quality statement is : "Except A Man Be Born Again (spiritually), He Can Not See (understand spiritually) The Things Of GOD"!.....(John 3: 3)....Ps.. Nicodemus posed the same question to JESUS!.....Must be born again (spiritually) before you can spiritually understand spiritual things of GOD!....simple as that!.....The spiritual things of GOD are not reserved for heathens...unless they become "BORN AGAIN"......so, you're not going to get what you call (quality) answers, unless folks are born again (spiritually).......simple as that!.....

When you're having a crap day and your mom calls and leaves a message on your cell phone just to compliment you. I know God's sending a guardian angel in the form of my mom at that moment.
