I take my hat off to you, 2 is plenty for me to cope with. Depending on their ages depends on what intervention you need to take. If over 5 let them get on with it unless it becomes physical, if under 5 would be concerned about not stopping it. In my house if they argue about the tv i turn it off and hide the remote, if the volume from the kids gets too bad because of them shouting, i walk around whispering, my kids are so nosey they immediately go quiet to find out what i said.
Have you tried giving them jobs to do. I got mine cleaning the kitchen cupboards out, rewarded them after with a treat, kept them busy and quiet, i got a chore done.
Anyway, good luck, buy yourself some earplugs!!!

It's their job. Arguing with siblings is how they will learn to get along with others in the real world. It is best to stay out of it as long as it isn't becomming physical and a younger or weaker child isn't being harmed. Also emotional abuse should not be allowed either.

YES! My two daughters... OMG.. About anything and everything! I think they try to see how much they can argue in a day! Sometimes I think they argue just for the sake of arguing!

if you watch 'Super Nanny' (or any of those shows) all this can be fixed!!!!!!!
but a bit is how they learn to get along in the real world
mine have calmed down a bit more now as not so busy/stressed and given some positive attention
vicious circle: stress- react- more stress-more react....
we chilled lately and went to beach
and damn I forgot the camera to take a pic of teen an little one playing in water!!
?when will I see that again

my 9 year old will do the same, if he doesn't get what he wants right then he will sit there and argue, He argues over everything.
