Yes,, they work just like a little flat hairclip that you place under your own hair, if put on correctly, they're virtually invisible (except for the hair),

These are FABULOUS! I love them because they can be human hair so that you can curl, flat iron and even colour them (within reason) The best part is you can take them in and out daily and there's no re-growth to deal with (after paying upwards of $1000 for fusion, this is a huge benefit!) You can also take off the clips and have them sewn in.
Some tips include starting at the bottom and working your way up. If a weft is too wide for your head you can fold and sew it to fit better. Assuming you are using Raquel Welch extensions one pack is great for thickening up your hair or adding length to chin length hair or longer, but you will require two packs to make short hair (mine has been as short as 4-5 inches) to make it believable. Wearing them curly and your hair curly helps disguise them well and don't be afraid to get a stylist to trim all or some of the wefts, especially if you are going from really short. Have fun and I hope this helped!

Human hair extensions are more expensive but they can be dyed and styled with curling irons, flat irons, ect. And you can keep them and re-use them over and over since they can be washed and styled. Synthetic hair extensions are cheeper but cannot be dyed you just have to find the closest match but there are many colors to chose from. Also after being washed they can tangle and be hard to comb out and really hard to style again. You can go to a wig shop and buy either. Call around to check on prices. The clip in kind are more for adding slight touches of color to your hair, not for signifigant length extensions. As for putting them in I would recommen the track and sew method. Horizontial braids are braided into your hair and the extensions are sewn into them. I think it looks more natural and you dont have to spend two weeks picking glue out of your head

I think there is a video on this if you go to www.wigs.com, the rachel welch video for clip ons. I think you are supposed to start with the back of the head and clip at the center first, then right, then left. Check out the website. I hope this helps.

they look great, I love them. what you do is part a small section of hair, just enough so you don't see the clip but not enough so you don't see the extension, then just clip the hair into place & you're all set
