Anything over 100 is better than average of course. 126 puts you in the top 5% of the general population.

standardized IQ tests may show you how smart you are on paper, but they cant tell you how life smart you are, how wise you are, how kind you are, or how likely you are to succeed. 126 is a good number for IQ, but nothing more. you can have a high IQ but still be a total social idiot and never make more than minimum wage. or you can have a really low IQ and go really far in life. so if you really want to be "smart" and successful, its gonna take more than good grades.

126 is slightly above average. Also, saying you don't care what other people's IQs are is a little rude. It's not like you wouldn't still have the answer you're looking for. o_O

126 is pretty good. It doesn't matter how old you are though. Intelligence quotient is :
Mental "Age"/actual age
By the way, 1 deviation "tails" of the curve lie at 70 and 130 with 100 being average by definition for the system.

In my experience, anything over 90 is a bad IQ until college. Then it becomes useful. 15 was better than 13 at least.

yes and stroke that... it'll come in handy in adulthood.
though when i was 15 i had an iq of 140.. i completly wasted it away with partying and just being mentally lazy... i rather had a buzz and lay out in the sun than give my mind any mental stimulation.
i wasted my education.. sure i'm an artist but... i could have done so much more with what i was given.
i say give that kid emotional and mental stimulation be proud and help them do the best they can the most out of what they have.
if they want to slack off because it's hard work, never!
i'm a prime example of wasted mentality.. it happens way too often.
college bound for them, i hope they find their potential and work at it all their lives and succeed.
maybe once bush leaves office and the child develops in the science catagory they can help with the stem research and help folks like me who made a mess out of their bodies.
and those who are diseased who couldn't get a chance to develop because of the lack of technology when it comes to science and the anatomy.
we need to catch up big time.
but whatever they do support them.
ok this was too long but i can't emphasis enough that time flies and messing around catches up at the worst time of one's life..
when they needed to get serious and work their tush's off and get somewhere in life.
for their future.
