Yes we should demand that the US government deploy a ten million man and women army to get rid of anyone that does not agree with our way of life!!
If you believe the above statement then you are crazy!

As a former soldier the last person I want in the foxhole beside me is someone who doesn't want to be there. The all volunteer army is a much better army than what preceded it. I doubt that you will find any General in the Pentagon that would want a return to the draftee army.
From a personal standpoint I think everyone should serve their country in some fashion at some point in their lives. But we live in a free country and no one should be made to do so. If the President can't maintain sufficient support for his policy to keep troops in the Army he should change his policy.

It's called a draft. Drafts suck and are only called into play when there aren't enough people in the army. The soldiers would be helped more if the US tied up all their loose ends in whatever volatile areas they're in and brought the soldiers home. Why should males who don't support the war have to fight it anyway? There are enough people recruited now (male and female) to deal with real problems--the US needs to stop creating problems and sending soldiers over to wherever needlessly.

It should be compulsory for the children of our elected officials in Washington to be on the front-line. Then maybe they will act responsibly.

Personal belief I think every one should have to do some type of civil service or military service even if it's just for a year.

I think it would be a good idea all miltary age people in israel spend at least one year in the military. I think in todays world its not a bad idea....

yes. as long as it applys to every able bodied male. that means rich politicans couldn,t pay their sons way out. nor should they get special treatment.
