If you are walking with God and careful to follow Jesus's teaching as revealed in the bible, then ask God to make your mind clear and help you make the best decision you can. Ask a couple of wiser, more experienced people you trust to see what they think. If it's still not clear, then the answer is simple. Do what you want. If you're following God's Word, you won't go wrong, for everything we need to know about Him and about life is in there.
If God has a different path for you, believe me, He will close doors on you and fast. Had it happen to me. But rarely is He just going to send you a telegram. You've got to trust Him and make the best, most informed decision you can.

When its a place in the road where I really can't see the way I should go I stop, pray for guidance, and wait for an answer. As far as a gift, or things of that nature, I trust the inner voice of my heart. God doesn't sweat the small stuff. He hones our judgment so that we can handle everyday decisions with grace and wisdom.

If you've been faitihful to God's Word, have been living at the leading of the Holy Spirit, then God will make clear you path.
Proverbs 3: 5-6 says, "Lean not to your own understanding, but in all things acknowledge him and he will direct your path."

I always give myself time to pray (days, weeks)...fervent, persistent prayer. God will answer. Every time I pray for something like this, I pray for God to make the road smooth, open doors that no man can close, make it crystal clear. He does every time. If it's not meant to be His will, He closes a door or I don't feel a "peace" about it. Look for these signs...be sure to give it up completely to God, He'll lead you in the right direction. He wants to bless your life.

I believe whatever you choose is God's will. It's still free will, your decision, but what you choose is already what you are supposed to. Every choice has it's own purpose, no matter how big or small, and eventually they should all lead one way and fit into the ultimate purpose, which I think is God's Plan.

Sometimes you just know that you know and you have peace,
You can make plans, but God orders your steps.
don't get to wrapped up in the decision, just make one....thank God there is room for a .oops..lets try again.
As you step out and make decisions, believe that God will bless them and he will direct you in the way you should go.
Then smile and be relieved knowing you put it in his hands....leave it there...you've surrendered the decision.
AHHHhhhh.

Everything we do is what's supposed to happen, be it willed by God, The Universe, Buddha, whoever you believe in. The path that you take is the one that's chosen for you, even though sometimes it doesn't seem like it. Just have faith!

God's will is reflected in yours.
He doesnt really have a will in such simple decsions in life simply because he wants you to be your own person.
God loves the individuality within each of us.
