Hi, I'd call your eye doctor and tell him / her the symptoms. Does the burning and watering go away when you take out your contact lenses? If so, I'd park them in your storage container until you can see your eye doctor.

I wear hard contacts too, and sometimes my eyes will water if I haven't cleaned them in a while or if I haven't gotten a whole lot of sleep during the week. If you've gone several days without cleaning them for some reason, or if you've missed some sleep, I'd clean the lenses and make sure to get plenty of sleep tonight.

Regardles, I'd definitely take out the lenses and avoid wearing them until you can make an appointment with the doctor. Then he / she can examine your eyes and tell you what to do next. Good luck!

sounds like the start of an eye infection.
I can sometimes stop them before a prescription is needed, just by leaving my contacts out.
If it gets worse call your eye doctor.

The good thing about hard contacts is you won't need to throw them away, just use your disinfect solution and an enzyme cleaner

throw all your eye make up out to prevent getting it again

Maybe you are not cleaning them correctly. Go and check with the doctor or use some eye drops. Do NOT touch it or rub on it.

YOU COULD HAVE A TEAR IN THE LENSE THAT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO SEE. OR YOU COULD HAVE AN EYE INFECTION. TRY USING DISPOSABLE CONTACTS INSTEAD!
