Myself and a friend and my son want to take a roadtrip into the states and return in a months time....besides proff of ideification of canadian citizenship what else is needed...what would I need to prove that we have intentions on returning?

Visa / Passport, Permission letter from your child's father. If driving, proof of insurance and Driver license.

What silly answers.

You won't need anything but ID and proof of car insurance that is valid in the US. If the border patrol agent asks about where you're going and how long you'll be, just tell the truth.

get them to track your vehicle to wherever u go in the states and have u check in every morning at a local police station. get visa and you know, all that necessary stuff to cross the border.

u need money. leave some valuables at the border so that they can be sure that u'll return 2 take them.
