For the mathematically oriented in this section that came up with the 8760 number. How long was the Vietkong war for and how many soldiers did the US lose there?
1957 - 1975, with a surge in troop deployment in the mid 60s.
US soldiers dead: 58,209
US soldiers wounded: 153,303
This is not a unitary method arithmetic. It's nonlinear and the rate of deaths of the invading forces always rises with time as the native resistance adapts to the military technology and tactics of the invaders.

Iraq is going into a civil war, there is no way america will be able to leave even in 10 years. They started the whole mess, they have to clean it up.(by they i mean Bush)

2600 / 3 years = 867 per year.
867 * 10 years = 8,670.
Where exactly do you get 50,000? I forgot, you don't care about the truth, you just like to fear-monger?
