Most dogs are either curious or afraid. When encountering dogs, keep your eyes to the ground. Put your hand out with the backof the hand leading, and let them sniff you. Once he sniffs you, you;re ok, then you can scatch his head.
Now you got a new friend.
Dogs can smell fear and will react if you get too nervous. But even then they really just want to bark and wrestle with you, not kill you.

Yes dogs can bite. If u don't do anything to make them mad or feel in danger then they shouldn't harm u unless it's just a bad dog who likes to attack.
To help u when going up to a dog DO NOT LOOK INTO ITS EYES!!! Because some dogs take this as a challenge and will want to fight so look some what toward the ground and let it sniff u to get to know your scent but don't get scared because they can sense fear and this to will make them scared. and attack

Dogs, or for that matter any sort of domesticated animal you may frequently come across, can and will bite you.
The question is: Why would they bite you? And the answer is that animals will bite when they feel threatened or unsure, especially if you are a stanger to them.
If you don't know a dog, it's best not to approach it closely without asking permission of its owner first.

Yes they do, especially if they smell fear in you. Also don't mess with a dog in a bad mood. If the dog is a well-trained happy dog, it won't bite you (unless you do something to provoke the dog).

well it depends on what dog it is really some dogs bite but i would say no if it was a dog that loved people like my dog

any animal will bite if they feel they are been threatend,scared,happy etc. u must neva touch any unknown dogs and always ask the owner before touching it.rememba there are dogs out there who will neva hurt a fly but can turn on u very easily.

yah if dis dog has teeth den yes without a doubt dey can bit so be careful not to jus start playin wit any old dog and be careful around stray dogs!!!!! BE VERY CAREFUL!!!!
