I was punished honestly for stealing, lying and basically being a bad kid. I would also be punished for being mean to others that were less fortunate than me. Now as an adult I appreciate that I was punished for these anti-social behaviours but at the time did not think it was cool.

I got punished for lying and my parents were controlling enough as it is so I did not need anymore restriction. I had it all already!

There was many reasons...... I was never really spanked that much, but things were taken away from me.
