My wife is a physical therapist. You will need to eventually get a Masters degree in physical therapy to be licensed to practice physical therapy in most states unless you only want to be a physical therapist's assistant. In that case, I would look at several Master's programs and their entrance requirements. Then you can choose the best undergrad major to suit those requirements. As the previous poster said, physical therapy would be the best choice.

I'm not a physical therapist, but, alot of the students I went to class with were because we have a good physical therapy school close by. Almost everyone that was trying to get into physical therapy picked Biology as thier major. I would recommend this one, it is what all the biology teachers suggested as well. It's very hard, but, you could always be a biology teacher if you flunk out of physical therapy school! ;)

Physical Therapy would be the obvious answer, other majors could be Biophysics, Biology (anatomy or zoology), Physical Training, Sports management medicine, etc...

look at the schools you want to go to and then nearly any offer courses that would be a good background for physical therapy iff physical therapy is not already available.
