If it's ground meat then take a half pound and a bunch of veggies (onions, peppers, carrot, potato, garlic, zucchini, squash...the sky is the limit).
Add salt and any other spices/herbs you desire.
Add butter and a spoonful of cream of mushroom soup.
After all that wrap in tin foil (twice to keep dirt out) and throw on top of coals from fire that has burn for about twenty minutes. The best I tell you THE BEST!!

Listen to me. go to Sams club and go to the frozen food area and snag the breakfast pan that has eggs, potatoes, sausage gravy and cheese. It serves 12 people for $4.19. All you do is heat that baby up for breakfast and throw toast.
Now twenty ppl is a lot to serve for. Go snag some inner skirt steak and marinade real well. When you've done that just throw those babies on the coals in the grill, not on the grill itself, otherwise it will flare up like a *****. cook on each side for 1 minute. Cook up some peppers and onions and get some tortillas and let everybody have fajitas. Also when cutting the steak, cut across the grain in thin strips, if you cut with the grain it will be too chewy. Enjoy.

I would suggest a couple of roasts. Dig a hole and use hot coals to create an oven. I use some rocks on the bottom and side to help regulate the temperature. Season and oil the meat and wrap it well in aluminum foil. Use basic timetables for beef to determine how long you need to cook the meat. While you're at it, you can bake a bunch of potatoes this way. I prefer cooking IN a fire to on a fire while camping, particularly if there's a lot of people to cook for. Have fun!

My bro likes to grill steaks out in the desert...but that has a nasty habit of attracting coyotes. Not that I mind coyotes...
