I need to know the easiest way to find out what is going on with a pc at my church, it takes about 20 minutes to boot, it has avg, adware SE, and Spybot, xp pro sp2, advance security is turned on by the tech they used to have, I have just down loaded 3 different registry cleaners, will try them this weekend, hard drive is only at 20% full, 2.6ghz 512 meg mem..... any ideas please e-mail me. Thanks for your help.

Format the hard drive and install again, it will be good as new....

Right off the top of my head, the hard drive MIGHT be going bad...check that. Your RAM might be bad too...download MemTest86

Checkwhat processor is in it and how much ram you have,it might just be slow naturally compared to newer ones.
