they are the kids who have the hair covering thier eyes. the guys that wear tight girl pants. the guys that are "emo" or emotional about everything. the guys that are skinnier than herion addicts. the guys that cry over everything. the guys that cut themselves. so pretty much a bunch of losers that act like teen girls with raging hormones

It's a slang term for people who listen to emo music. It's short for "emotional" The music is mix a mix of indie and punk just slowed down, and usually accoustic. A lot of Dasboard Confessional's older stuff is a good example.
