I've been told that the answer is agnostic, but no matter which definition of agnostic I read, I don't think that's it.

What you describe sounds like the common understanding of Agnostic. even though you may not be exactly the dictionary definition. You are probably too unique to classify.
Keep seeking and if you really want to know the truth you will find it.

There is a difference in beleiving of a god and beleiving in God.
The devil knows there is God but he doesnt beleive in Him.
Just beleiving there is one doesnt make you a christian or a follower.
I go to an asembly of God church, does that make me anything?No---just a person that goes to church!
Im not religious either although i religiously brush my teeth.
I do have a love relationship with the lover of my soul.
We talk daily.I trust Him with my life in every aspect.
What does that make me?
A beleiver, follower, saved, saint kelly, not sure what a (leagal)catagory that would put me in.Maybe you could look the word up on liine?

Theist = one who believes in a god or gods
Atheist = one who believes that there is no deity
Common misconception: all atheists are absolutely certain that
no god exists. We do not believe, but we don't all say it's impossible.
There is an overlap with agnostics.
Usually the theists are the ones who feel certain.

That makes you confused? Why believe in God and not get to know Him and His will for your life? Read the bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
I pray the Lord opens your heart to His Truth!
Many Blessings!

It makes me the same as anybody else who believes in a higher power. I don't have to go to church for my higher power to hear me pray. I don't have to read the bible to know what's right and wrong, and I don't believe that there is a hell.

Even Satan believes in God. Satan is well acquainted with God; he can repeat the scriptures backwards and forwards. Knowing God and being saved by Jesus Christ, the Savior, is the difference in all religions, all faiths, and in just "believing in God."

I DON'T KNOW IF THAT HAS A LABEL BUT TO JUST BELIEVE IN GOD WILL NOT GET YOU INTO ETERNAL LIFE YOU HAVE TO STUDY HIS WORD AND GO TO CHURCH AND BELEIVE THAT JESUS CHRIST WAS DEAD AND THEN CAME TO LIFE AND IS THE SON OF GOD YOU HAVE TO BE IMMERSED IN WATER AND BE BAPTISED THEN YOU HAVE A BETTER CHANCE
