Wanda Medina,a hispanic activist,said"A lot of this is going to be heading towards profiling".In spite of angry reactions from the hispanic community,the ordinance was passed 4 to 1 by city council members,A final vote is scheduled for 8/17/06.

I heard that mayor was going to try something like that...but I thought it was put to a vote and was voted down.

Somebody has to do it the Federal Government is not doing a very good job. Unfortunately some city governments look to the illegals for political support and they welcome the illegals.
