Now first off I am not saying that I agree that Israel should have ever been established when and how it was, I am not saying that I agree with the war in Iraq. I am asking though, which is more of a terrorist action, a country telling another, we are about to start bombing the hell out of your towns with enemy cells so you best get all the civilians that you can out of there. OR some crazy misguided person strapping bombs to themselves and walking into a market full of women and children?

Well Paty, not sure what your history book says but mine reads of many examples of suicide attacks long before the war in Iraq. However skiping ahead to present day history...In 1972 in the hall of the Lod airport in Tel-Aviv, Israel, three Japanese used grenades and automatic rifles to kill 26 people and wound more than a hundred.[citation needed] The group belonged to the Japanese Red Army (JRA) a terrorist organization created in 1969 and allied to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). Until then, no group involved in terrorism had conducted such a suicide operation in Israel. Members of the JRA became instructors in martial art and Kamikaze operations at several Hezbollah training camps bringing the suicide techniques to the Middle East.

when you say :... " we are about to start bombing the hell out of your towns with enemy cells ".... what enemy cells ?
was it the American or the Israeli Intelligence who said that there where Hezbollah Gorillas hiding in that building in Qana, when the Israeli army bombed it last week, and "MASSACRED" more than 60 civilians - 50% of them where kids !!!
Or maybe the "MASSACRE" of today, when the Israeli army bombed a building in Ekar, where more than 35 civilians were butchered, and no less than 15 - 20 of them were kids !!!
Maybe it was their fault because they should have left their houses "faster" than the missile !!
Criticizing a person strapped with bombs is easy, specially when you have the world media as a back-bone to cover the matter in every possible way.Now I,am not for killing innocent civilians on either side, but the question remains :
If America and Israel are not terrorist countries, are they peace full ones,or at least supporting it ?? Only time can tell !!!

Well that's no contest. Of course the last one. A lot of people hate America because they are a very powerful nation and can do a lot of things without others stopping them. I think this scares a lot of people and that's why they are anti-American. This sentiment gets worse with the American history of invading other countries (sometimes with the sole purpose of eliminating a leader, like they did in Chile) and trying to play policeman. Iraq is a big disaster. There is also still a lot of violence in Afghanistan. Israel is wrong with invading Lebanon but it doesn't mean they are terrorists. I would still choose USA above most other countries because in how many other countries can you openly criticize your leaders and get away with it? Even accuse them of causing 9/11 and stuff like that. By the way, I am South African.

Gee, when did Bush tell anyone to get out? No, sorry, he didn't. He started an illegal military action on a basically unarmed sovereign nation by LYING to the American Public stating it was because they supposedly had chemical weapons.
It was found to be an outright lie!
Then Abu Graibe and Guantanamo happened.
Bush had his soldiers use Saddam's personal torture chamber to commit heinous acts of torture by his military...

How does that make the US NOT terrorists, is my question.

I served this nation, a country in which I love, but right now, as it is my RIGHT to do so...I dissent! I am appalled at the atrocities our military has committed!

AND TO Li'l miss Madefrospetzle...IRAQ NEVER BOMBED US!! Afganistan and Saudi Arabia did!!

Both. The crazy misguided person and the countries who attack with bombs are (or has been) terrorists. You know why? Because they both kill innocent people. Look at the papers and check how many hospitals, shelters and schools USA and Israel destroyed, and those weren't empty places.

Israel and America are not terrorist states. I wish I had written the following but I did not. I don't think EDDie will mind me passing along his words, which I believe 100%. If his words don't cause you to think, check out the web site posted below from a former PLO terrorist who is now a Christian American.

Israel wants peace and recognition of its existence. The Muslim extremists, including Syria and Iran regimes want Israel wiped off the face of the earth, and have repeatedly said so. Israel has absolutely no interest in claiming Lebanon, or any other Arab country.

I don't know about you, but when you hear a leader of a regime (Iran) inciting hate and claiming his intentions, he and his regime must be taken out (if the world would have done so with Hitler, there would not have been a Holocaust or WWII).

Let me also remind you how this current situation began:

BUT FOR Hezbollah going on Israeli soil, killing 8 and kidnapping 2 Israeli soldiers, Israel would not be on the offensive to destory Hezbollah. This is not a war on Lebanon. It is a war on Hezbollah and its backers (Syria and Iran). Since the Lebanese army that numbers about 150,000 soldiers is unwilling and/or unable to remove Hezbollah's 5,000 terrorists, Israel will.

The situation is tragic over there, but it is Lebanon's fault for not protecting itself and exercising its sovereign right against a militia, a terrorist group in control of parts of its country.

Unfortunately for the Lebanese civilians, Hezbollah embeds itself, and launches rockets within residential areas. Israel has warned in advance to allow people to leave, but Hezbollah uses many civilians as human shield. Israel tries as best as possible to avoid killing civilians, while Hezbollah and other terrorist groups are intentionally targeting Israeli civilians, and only apologize if they killed Arab-Israeli civilians.

Syria is re-supplying Hezbollah with rockets, and that the Israeli Air Force is only striking resupplies when it passes into Lebanon (unfortunately, not 100% of the supply is destroyed in time by Israel...at least, no YET).

It is time for the Muslim world to take some accountability and handle its exterme element that is numbered in the millions of people.

For those who believe that the extremist element in Islam is small, the numbers are staggering. There are 1.2 billion Muslims in this world. Lets take a very liberal view that only a very small percentage of Muslims are exterme, while the rest of the Muslim world is very peaceful. So if only 10% of Muslims have extreme point of views, and may be a threat, and must be dealt with, meaning dealing with 120 million Muslims! How about 1%? Then you must deal with 12 million Muslims. How about 1/10 of a percent? Then you must deal with 1.2 million Muslims. The numbers are staggering! How do you propose dealing with even the "very low" figures of 1.2 million Muslim extremists?

This is a grave and dangerous situation, but it has to and will be dealt with. Whether by global support or only by Israel. Israel has no choice but to destroy Hezbollah.

Deal with Hezbollah, Hamas, Syria and Iran, and you shall have peace in the Middle East. The extremist element of Islam MUST BE and WILL BE dealt with. So it is written, so it shall be.

your right, but why did america start a war on Iraq in the first place. Bush , just somehow linked the September 11 attacks to Iraq, and gave a stupid and untrue reason to bomb iraq. He somehow linked Osama bin Laden to Saddam Hussien and just attacked. I don't know where you heard it, but no one called Isreal and America terrorist, we just call Bush the biggest idiot that ever beacame American President and Isreal's actions unfair and unjust. and did'nt the suicide bombing start after the war on Iraq?
(reply to answer below me)Israel had a very stupid reason to attack lebanon. Lebanon only captured two israeli solider's who were on lebenese soil. any solider who on enemy soil, is caputered, it's not something new.it happens every where. israel had many lebanese soliders and civilians prisinors, but did lebanon attack , no , they just had peaceful negosiations. Hezbollah did not attack first, but it was israel , just because they captured two israeli soliders who should have not been in labannon. Hezbollah had to defend themselves, had to protect Lebannon somehow. and whose winning now, lebannon is. israel just needed some reason to attack lebanon.

No kidding. I'm not a huge supporter of war either but I certainly think it's more humane to give warning rather than rush off and sacrifice yourself and other people for the sake of your religion...

I just can't fathom it really.
