With your condemning, sarcastic remarks. Do you think you are any different than the crowd who stood and cried "Crucify Him, Crucify Him!" Are you any different than those who falsely accused him? Are you any different than the ones who drove in the nails and the sword? We are all sinners. God loved us so much that he watched his son take on the filth of the world. Must we continue to crucify Jesus? If he is not King of Kings, why waste your effort and you excrutiatingly evil words?

There is absolutely nothing happening anywhere that is not part of God, or a result of His will. Can your thumb break itself off of your hand by itself? With a word, a thought, God can undo this universe, and an infinite number of other universes, and make it so none of it ever existed. I ask you, what could possibly diminish such power?

Nope, I don't if I could do that I would be god not Him. I stand humbled by his righteousness, I would not dare be sarcastic towards God, or blespheme in any way. I respect Him and love him and trust Him with my life. I hate it that it took a sacrifice that great for my redemption, and never will understand as liong as I live why he actually did it for me, but I am so glad he did. I really don't care what mean people say about Him, for me God, Jesus adn the Holy Spirit are everything... No one can take that away, and I really don't feel like I have to defent God ... He can take care of himself and of me, and everybody else... To the rest, I say... there's going to be a day when 'every knee will bow before God, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father'... And saying that and not having believed in Him beforehand will be terrible for them... but then, everyone makes their own bed.

Do you truly believe you can intelligently reference his power? Because the only way you can even speak of God is in the limited language of fallible humanity, which can never suffice.

At any rate, yes I'm different from the crowd that called for his crucifixion - I'm not willing to kill for religious beliefs that have to be assumed (or taken on faith, as it's usually phrased) and which cannot by definition ever be proven.

Please consider that some people don't share your beliefs, and that you can't reasonably expect them to accept terms like "sin" and "evil" the same way you do. Be open-minded enough to speak to them on their own terms, and don't be so ready to call people evil. That's a very powerful word, and you should use it sparingly.

Most of us don't relate every little thing in our lives to our chosen deity - most of us are able to live according to belief structures that guide our actions without holding our feet to the fire at every moment. And most of us are okay with living in the world - we see the problems as chances for us to make a difference, not as inevitable result of an ages-old conflict between powers we can neither affect nor truly even understand. So (generally) it isn't like people are trying to insult your particular savior.

All that said, there are a bunch of jack@sses in this world (especially on the internet) who mock people's beliefs and are disrespectful of anybody who claims religious views. Don't take it personally, turn the other cheek and ignore them. Generally their vitriol doesn't deserve the dignity of an answer.

Oh, and if God is as big as you believe he is, he's perfectly capable of defending his own reputation! That he chooses not to interfere with idiots means you shouldn't feel obligated to either. :-D

No, I do not believe that I can diminish God's power because I do not believe that He exists.

Speaking of condemning remarks, you do realize that you are making condemning remarks, right?

Yes, I am different from those who cried "Crucify Him." I don't persecute people for their religion, I just try to minimize its effect on my own life.

I am not a sinner.

My words are not evil.

I detest religion but not God. Religion is a manmade political entity. Atheists are pain in the butt with arrogance and hubris.

Atheists say they can prove the non-existence of God and believer say the bible is proof of God's existence..

Neither are correct in my view. The bible is a manmade document transcribed and transliterated from aramaic, hebrew to greek then to latin.. and any semblance of originality of the original oral tradition is likely lost in translation. Atheists say all things can be proven by scientific method. I am a reverent agnostic.. I say to them in my view something caused the first cause.

Christians tend to rant on about you have to believe the way they don't because the want everyone to be saved by Jesus.. Guess what? I was baptized as a baby and believe full well I am saved.. But I don't want some jackass bible thumper continually proselytizing his immature faith on me for his sake of some sense of obligation to Jesus.

The End is Nigh. Repent! Get a cheeseburger before it's too late! How about asking God for answers instead of people on the Internet!

If he's not the King of Kings, why get carpal tunnel typing all that nonsense?
God is up there laughing. Sarcastic comments don't affect him, he's God. He has other things to worry about. And besides, if He didn't have a sense of humor we'd all be dead.

what makes you think that is the aim?

i have never seen the power of god, but i have seen what men have done in his name. jesus was crucified by men who believed that he had to die for his blasphemy. they believed that god wanted them to kill jesus.

why did god not intervene when his was the voice they needed to hear? why is it that this merciful god gave his son to people who would crucify him before the woman who gave birth to him?

must we continue to crucify jesus? i don't know why it needed to happen the first time. have you ever wondered what would be different if the romans had chosen mercy? was that beyond god's power?

Being sarcastic, or presenting a different opinion to yours is hardly the same as specifically calling for a person to be tortured an executed.

I don't think that people's sarcastic remarks are meant to diminish God..........I think they are meant to diminish you. Many people don't share your beliefs and feel the need to be ugly about it and disrespect you and your beliefs. I personally do not share your beliefs.......but I will in no way disrespect you or your beliefs........they are yours and I respect that. I do not agree that we are all sinners. But if that is your heart felt belief.......than I will respect you on your path. I wonder .........will you respect me on mine? God/dess bless you!
And in the newly found scriptures of Judas......it is written that Judas was actually carrying out Christs wish's in giving him up to the Romans.
