I read that soda pop contains phosphates, which can contribute to osteoporosis by depleting your calcium. I am wondering whether drinking club soda (with juice) would have the same effect?

I think part of the issue is the fact that the carbonation puts carbon dioxide into your system. You body is designed to get rid of carbon dioxide - not to ingest it. I suspect you are better off leaving carbonated drinks off your diet.
