nope. Pretty normal but if you feel you should lose more weight then so be it dont go crazy about it though. Skinny isn't beautiful and neither is being fat. However you ARE NOT fat. You are a good size. Be careful what you eat, how much you eat and exercise regularly.

No, it is not overweight. I was around that weight when I was around your age and was not overweight.

I notice a couple of people here said it sounds a bit heavy, trust me they probably don't have a clue of what it means to be 5ft2 and 120lb, so just ignore them, as they do not have a clear idea of what is a healthy weight.

Trust me, it's absolutely fine, you have nothing to worry about. Just be sure to get plenty of exercise and start practicing good eating habits now.

Just to make you feel better, I'm still 120lb now and I'm 25, so if you look after yourself, you will stay at a healthy weight.

Take care : )

body mass index (BMI) is a load of crap, as ANY decent personal trainer or even doctor will tell you. you need to get your actual body fat % calculated. that is the only 100% accurate way to know if you are carrying too much fat. if you look at a professional bodybuilder who is 300 pounds, he may only be 2% bodyfat. looking at BMI, which does NOT take into account lean muscle mass, he is morbidly obese. Obvioiusly, that is horrendously incorrect. Go get your body fat percentage measured by a professional.

Based on your height and weight your body mass index is 21.9 which is on the lower end of the healthy range, so no, you are not overweight. Beside your only thirteen and to young to worry about such things.

5'2" 120lbs... that is a little heavy in the numbers but i have a friend who is 6'3" 165lbs and he is chubby and 165lbs is underweight so i think you should ask a doctor and also think if you have a big waist line but dont think this is bad because since you are 13 you are most likily going to have a growth spurt and that weight will balence out with your height

No, you are fine. However, if you don't work out, you will be.

That's how it is in this country where eating habits are terrible.

You are in school, so see if you can get into a basketball or volleyball team.

I can't tell if you are a boy or girl. Sorry. However, if you are a boy, see if you can get into your school wrestling team. It will get you in your best shape; you will thank me when you are in your 20's and 30's.

Calculate your BMI. Check link. Exercise + healthy eating, occasional treats/junk food, it's toxic stuff in abundance.

Keep a little meat on you, girls should be a little curvy. I wouldn't be worried about your weight if I were you but it's good that you a health conscious, just eat! but eat smart and healthily and tone up. You are still growing, don't try any stupid fad diets please. I remember doing that when I was your age, it just screws your metabolism.
