why do people hate pit bull i know they are mean but they are a good gard dog and they will be nice if you tran them to be nice

I dont know but i have a pit bull and she is the most loving caring dog in the world. as soon as someone comes over to her she rolls on her back and waits until they pat her belly. I hate that everyone is so afraid of them.

Because they can be dangerous also. A child where I lived got half his face bite off by a pit bull. His owner did not have him chained and he got out went into the neighbors yard and jumped on the child while the child was playing in the mud. Everyone ran to help the child but the dog would not stop biting the child, luckily we woke the neighbor up and he got his pit bull off the child.

Sometimes the breed itself is very protective or one person oriented but I completely believe it is how they are raised. A lot of people just won't take a chance with a pit bull because generally they are raised as guard dogs (some for fighting).

I don't hate pit bulls, but I think not a lot of people like them because they think pitbulls aren't a very good family dog.

I like Tigers.. but they just are breed well enough to be a pet. Same is true for the pitbull..... It's not a crime to enjoy something until your enjoyment affects other people... then...you've crossed the line.. This is why people are concerned about the Pit bull breed.

...I pit is a good dog.. A dog is only as good as their owner.
Unfortunately, allot of people who like to raise vicious dogs love pits...
I had a Doberman and felt exactly the same. He was assume.

too many bad stories like one where a dog was in heat and a women put her kid in the basement and said to the boy don't come out till I get home. And some how the pitbul got into the pasment and moled the kid it is very sad!

Because no matter how much training a pit bull gets, it is quite possible it will turn nasty someday and kill or maim someone for no reason. You see it all the time.

people are scared of pit bulls cause of all the bad stories in the news that past few decades. did you just wake up today?
