if you are flexible with your travel plans, yes. They will put you on a flight at ANY time during the requested day. For a short trip, you could get a late flight out and early return, thus losing two days from your trip. I have used them, but low-balled the heck out of the price and been denied each time. I figure if I am going to potentially lose a few days, I want a great deal!

If you have a set budget, but don't care how long it takes to get there (like how many stops/layovers) or what time frame the flight is then YES.

Same goes for hotels, if you don't care what brand of hotel you sleep in, and only want to pay a specific price then YES.

Otherwise NO.

I've used it and it worked out really well. But I used the pick your hotel option rather than letting them choose, I am a chicken. My friend used them and let them pick and ended up getting a GREAT deal.

Also try going to the hotel/airline's site that you want to use. I ended up getting a way better deal at Circus Circus in Reno than any travel site was offering!

It can be. But be very careful. One time I chose my own price for airfare and I couldn't use the ticket on that date. So I couldn't change it at all. $800 bucks down the drain. I wouldn't suggest it for international flights unless you are 100% sure of the date.

I have tried to use it many, many, times, and it never worked for me.

In fact, one time my lowest offer was rejected, I called the airline and actually received a lower price on the phone.

I'd suggest trying bookingbuddy.com. I've had the best luck following that thru.

No. No deals, just junk. You can save up to 40%. That just means that there is one overprice fare that you can save on, that you can save the exact same amount on by simply asking any ticket agent for the lowest fare.

In reality, if you save over 3% on 99% of what they can sell you, I would be surprised.

I am planning a vacation, and I looked at their site last night. Their pricing is the same as everyone else out there---Travelocity, Expedia, Orbitz, Travel Zoo, etc.

Absolutely. Totally. I have rented cars for $10 and stayed at 4star hotels for $50/night.

No - if you want any control over where you actually stay, then don't use it.

I've used it in the past, and their selections were less then thrilling. I'll pay a tad more so I can have a choice.
