I was on it for 3 months this winter and it helped me tons. I would get sleepy about 30 minutes after I took it and would sleep for about 8 hours a night and wake up refreshed. I did not feel addicted at all and stopped when I needed to.

It relaxes you to sleep. The risk of addiction is very low. I've been taking the same dose since I started Lunesta. I take 2mg...

It works pretty good for me, but I sometimes still wake up a couple of times during the night and it does give me a funny taste in my mouth about 20 minutes after I take it that I wish it didn't. It's a mellow but effective sleep aid.

I work in a pharmacy and have been told that it leaves a metal aftertaste, but other than that works well. But of course, it can be addictive so be careful! Use it if it's needed only.
