Hotels at least there I know what to expect because sometimes people have attitudes and they rub off

I recently got back from 3 weeks in Australia, for a weekend i stayed with a local family and it was very nice and the rest of time i was in different hotels, it was nice to change it up

You can do a home stay. The prices are better than hotels and you stay in local's homes. My personal preference.

if i'm giong to visit friends for the weekend, i'm staying at there place. Otherwise, always a hotel. You never know what kind of weird people you might get stuck staying with. If you do, just be careful!!

it depends on whom u travel with
if u dont mind and that is fine with u why not?
but if its a get awy for u and someone special
then the hotel is better
