Mr I can't type Christopher S is a moron. The hybrid battery packs have a 10 year or 100,000 mile warranty and don't cost near that much. More like $3,000.

However the main thing is your are not going to see significant enough gas savings to justify the price over the regular Camry. And the Hybrids have some issues, nothing major... just annoyances. I would save the money and purchase a regular Camry & if you want fuel economy buy the four cylinder version.

My girlfriend just got one. IT ROCKS. It's big, comfy, drives well, looks great, and gets great milage. It's too new to know it it's reliable over a long-term, but so far, it's been wonderful. I love the way it steers, too. I'd say, if you can afford it, and give a **** about the envoirnment, by all means, buy one!

Don't expect to get much back in resale when that battery pack craps out. I would not buy a used car that will require a $5000 battery when I buy it from you in five years.
