i d/l norton from yahoo several days ago......when i enable it it freezes my puter...some say run lusetup.exe but my registry(?) says the file doesn't exist

I've used nortons before and to me its a product that is way over rated just like ipods & myspace. I've only know nortons to freeze your computer when its installed with other antivirus software. Its also a resource hogger and slows down your computer. Try something like PcCillin.

Norton is a box of junk. Bit defender is way better than AVG, Norton, Pc-Cillin or anything else out there!
How do I know that Bit defender is the best? Visit www.toptenreviews.com and see for yourself!
Besides, I've used AVG, Norton, and Pc-Cillin for myself and they can't even come close to Bit defender. True that!

click on start /control panel /add/remove/programs
look in the list for nortons anti virus
click on it once then click on remove tab to uninstall it
then close off the clotrol pane/add/remove windown click on mycomputer icon click on (c) drive click on program files look in the program files folder for nortons folder right click it click on delete close off them open windows click on start /run .. in the run box type
msconfig
click on ok then click on the startup tab at the top .. look in the list for anything that says nortons and un-tick the box click on apply & ok the pc will have to be reset
then install this it is far better
