I told my ex I still loved him. He didnt respond to it as well as i thought. And i was in the exact situation as you. My parents were friends with his parents and all that. You should tell him though. Tell him that you like him first. Maybe then he'll ask you out. And once you guys go out you'll love each other and have the courage to say it to him. It took a lot of guts for me to tell my ex i still loved him but I just did it. I had a sudden urge lol. So good luck, i hope it all works well for you =)

Well, I had the same thing and I never really told her. With us guys, there isnt that much of a problem, but you never know...I regret what I did, but it depends on his personality. If you think it wont ruin your friendship, then go ahead. But if your not sure...then I can't help there, you would be back to square one.

Don't "try to make someone jealous", that only make them resentful. I suggest you let things happen naturally. If he isn't interested in you as more than a friend, and you value that friendship, then keep quiet. If you see signs that he really likes you more than a friend, it wouldn't hurt to say you think he is really special.

I know just how ya feel. Trust me. my situation is like urs. I think that u should find out if he likes u. If he does, that's great, maybe u guys could have somthin'. But if he doesn't that's fine 2, but just let him know sooner or later that u like him. It takes a long time getting over a crush, let a lone a love.

go for it. What if something were to happen to him, you'd want him to know how you felt.Hey, & the bright side is, i'm thinking he's into you too! they say it's good to start out as friends anyway. And you said he's shy, maybe he's to scared to tell you how he feels, because he's afraid of rejection. So, go for it, your in love!

Weigh the risk factors - a great life long friend is better then a short lived romance!

I wish you all the luck with this, it was the same for me, I didn't know he loved me back, turns out he wanted to have some experiences before settling down with the "one" - have patience, be true and don't push him into anything, if it's true love, it won't be unrequited, I promise.
