I usually like Italian or Irish or European men. But for the first time ever, I found myself attracted to a Middle Eastern person - a character in the movie, Syriana - to the point of even researching the actor.

i have no preferences at all.i just look for personality.i think everyone deserves a chance,no matter what race or what they look like.& my parent does not care at all.

Not really. If I have a preference it is usually more along the lines of socio-economic class and culture. I've known several black woman I wanted to ask out but maybe they were only half african (Mariah Carey, Halle Berry, you listening?)
I used to have a mental block on dating hispanic women. It's a long story but I resented my spanish heritage. People assumed spanish meant mexican and I would get irritated. This prevented me from dating my college neighbor who was a beautiful Ecuadoran woman who looked like Penelope Cruz. Of course, I didn't really explore my irish heritage either. I'm a mutt... people have said I look like I'm spanish, portuguese, italian, jewish (huh?) and Iraqi (WTF?).
Anyways, my mom doesn't care who I marry as long as I marry and have kids, already.

Open minded.....i actually talk to my parents about it they said they wouldn't care, but sometimes there are cultural barriers involved.

i try to stay open minded, but for some reason i seem to be attracted to white girls. i am hispanic and i grew up in a white area. parents never had a problem with it.

I'm open-minded and will date a good woman of any race. But my preference is African-Anerican (black) women.

nope. i think each one of us are very interesting. no specific race or nationality need. each one of us has a very interesting character. as long as we click, skin color doesn't matter at all.
