I have two boxers, one male and one female. My male holds his bladder better than my female. At a year old, he is still a puppy but should be housebroke. I always take the water up at 8:00, they get let out right before bed, at 10 or 11, then again at 6am. They never use the bathroom.
I don't think it's a "Boxer" problem. Is he on a set schedule throughout the day? If he's not, I would try that b/c if he knows he's going out at 2,4,6,8 then he knows. But if it's sporadic, he doesn't know and will just go when the urge hits.
I love Boxers!!! I have seven puppies right now that are going to their new homes this weekend and it's going to kill me.

It has been my experience that all Boxer don't have bladder problems. I've never own a Boxer but a few of my close friends and relatives have and have never had that problem with their pet. I recommend that you consult a Veterinarian

Not that I know of. My sis had boxers for years and I never heard of any of them having bladder issues.

A dog should be trained on how to eat, walk with you, not to bark, potty training and sleep on its place etc. You can teach anything to your puppy, dogs get trained easily with some good instructions. If you want some good training tips visit https://tr.im/zLXs2
If properly trained, they should also understand whistle and gesture equivalents for all the relevant commands, e.g. short whistle or finger raised sit, long whistle or flat hand lay down, and so on.
It's important that they also get gestures and whistles as voice may not be sufficient over long distances and under certain circumstances.

i have an 11 yr old boxer. i know a lot about them. sometimes boxers will pee because they are mad at you. make sure you give him a lot of attention, and when you let him out to go to the bathroom, give him a treat when he comes back in, and yell at him when he goes in the house.

. my Siberian Husky had the same problem...in her case it is weak bladder muscles and she was put on a drug called PRO-IN ( which has basically no side effects/ and almost no health risks). your dog may have the same problem...if you schedule an appointment with your vet they can tell you whats going on.

Ehm..
If you want to stop unwanted behaviours of your dog you need to follow a good training course. One of the best I found online is http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=572
. It really helped me a lot. I saw very quick improvements thanks to some gentle, simple and effective tecniques they teach in the course
